Llandudno
shopping
Although
Llandudno has most of the big high street names, the town is geared mostly
to cater for locals and their necessities. There is a large retail park
with DIY stores too but for most visitor shopping will be best kept to
the souvenir shops located closer to the sea front, Llandudno pier and
the town centre.

The
town centre was built for the Victorian age over a hundred years ago
and the roads are broad with Victorian terraces either side. The best
way to describe the Victorian town planning is that the buildings are
no higher than the road is wide. The most recent addition to the town
is the Victoria Centre which hosts a pleasant undercover experience
with clothes shops, food outlets and jewellery stores.

Strolling
along the pier will give plenty of opportunities to buy some authentic
Llandudno rock and Welsh gifts or souvenirs and soft cuddly dragons.
