Chester Bars and Chester Nightlife

The best of Chester's nightlife can be found in café bars and restaurants that are plentiful in the city centre. Bars and clubs are scattered around Chester city and it can be quite a walk between them. If it is a pub-crawl that you are after, Jones' Wine Bar is always a good starting point and there are a few good places just a short walk away. Off The Wall also provides a good meeting point as it is easy to access by car and is only a few minutes away from the River Dee.

At the other end of the city, Watergates has a unique atmosphere because it is so dark, but do not let this put you off enjoying a drink or two. Next to the canal and just outside the city walls, Telfords Warehouse regularly hosts live bands and serves great food in the upstairs restaurant.
