Cars Terms & Conditions
1.
BLUESTONE CARS (hereinafter referred to as 'the Company') aims to
provide the best possible service to its clients.
2. All journeys must be booked and paid for in advance using the Internet
site www.bluestone.gb.com, its dedicated secure payment hosts or another
method at the companies discretion.
3. Minimum charge of £60 applies to all journeys booked through
The Company.
4. Deposits for any journey will be charged at 100%.
5. Provisional bookings will only be held for 36 hours unless otherwise
stated.
6. Your booking will be confirmed by e-mail upon receipt of the full
journey cost and upon acceptance by The Company.
7. Deposits are not refundable but are transferable.
8. Acceptance of our services is acceptance of contract.
9. No Vehicles will be permitted to commence hire until paid for in
full unless otherwise agreed by the Company.
10. Any additional costs such as mileage, extra time or parking charges
must be paid in 'cash only' at the end of the hire. Extra time and
mileage is charged at the prevailing rate in hourly increments.
11. Additional instructions on the day of hire will incur additional
costs.
12. All Vehicles are strictly non-smoking.
13. Any deviation from the journey booked, as shown on your booking
form and our subsequent confirmation will incur additional costs.
14. The balance of your booking shall be paid in full at least twenty-four
hours in advance of the journey unless otherwise agreed by the company.
15. The Company may in its absolute discretion without liability and
without giving reason refuse to accept any booking.
16. The Company cannot be held responsible for any loss financial,
professional, missed connection, flights, trains, boats, due to electronic,
Internet or e-mail failure.
17. The Company cannot be held responsible for any loss financial,
professional, missed connection, flights, trains, due to the vehicle
not arriving at the collection address at the booked time due to adverse
weather, traffic conditions, or road traffic accidents or road closures,
mechanical failure, riots, acts of god, accidents, illness or any
other event beyond our control.
18. The Company cannot be held responsible for any missed connections
i.e.. flights, trains, boats due to adverse weather, traffic conditions,
or road traffic accidents or road closures, mechanical failure, riots,
acts of god, accidents, illness or any other event beyond our control.
19. Any quoted collection or journey times are best estimates only
and whilst it uses all reasonable efforts to convey passenger(s) to
their destinations in the shortest possible time, The Company shall
have no liability if a collection or journey time exceeds any estimation
given or otherwise exceeds the customers or the passenger(s) expectations
for whatever reason nor shall The Company have any other liability
to the client or passenger(s) in connection with the time at which
the passenger(s) reach or fail to reach the destination.
20. The Company accepts no responsibility nor will it be held liable
in any way for any unforeseen circumstances such as mechanical breakdown,
punctures, accident, traffic jams or severe weather conditions. However,
should delays occur or hired vehicles become permanently immobilised
due to any of the aforesaid reasons or in circumstances beyond its
control the company reserves the right to provide an alternative vehicle
where possible.
21. The Company shall have no liability for any damage, loss, costs,
claims or expenses (whether foreseeable or not) incurred or suffered
by the client or the passenger(s) by virtue of eventualities or occurrences
or omissions including on the part of the company driver outside of
the reasonable control of The Company.
22. The Company cannot be held responsible or liable in any way for
loss or damage to client's property, luggage or personal effects howsoever
it is caused. The company cannot be held responsible for the return
of any property left in the vehicle and the hirer is responsible for
arrangements for the safe return of their property.
23. If The Company cancels the booking it shall have no liability
to the client or intended passenger(s) if it has used reasonable endeavours
to fulfil the booking and to notify the client of the cancellation.
24. In the event of any cancellation The Company must be notified
by e-mail as soon as possible. Cancellation of your Booking will incur
a charge of up to 20% of the total journey cost. If we are not notified
by e-mail of your cancellation you will be liable for the full payment
of your booking. If the cancellation is within 48 hours of your booking
date you are liable for 50% of the total journey cost. If cancellation
is within the 24 hours preceding your Booking time, you are liable
for 75% of the total journey cost. Journeys cancelled within the 12
hours preceding your booking time will not receive a refund.
25. The Company reserves the right to terminate any and all services
to rude and abusive clients.
26. Normal luggage assumes 1 suitcase and 1 piece of hand luggage
per person; any luggage that the vehicle cannot accommodate is the
responsibility of the passenger.
27. Any journey booked where the passenger is not contactable 70 minutes
after the booked time OR flight arrival will result in a 100% cancellation
charge.
28. For journeys booked from Airports, Train Stations, and Seaports
the onus is on the passenger to locate the driver and not the vehicle
driver to locate the passenger, on booking any such journey we will
give a definite meeting point that the passenger must locate, any
failure on the passengers part to locate the company representative
will result in a 100% cancellation charge.
29. The Company will allow a reasonable amount of time for late flights,
trains, and boats and will monitor arrivals where possible. When a
reasonable amount of time has elapsed, the passenger will incur a
100% cancellation charge.
30. No liability can be accepted for clothing etc. being marked or
dirtied in any way howsoever caused or by any means during the duration
of your hire.
31. Any fouling of the vehicle by any passenger will result in a charge
of a minimum of £90.00 dependant upon the severity of the fouling.
32. Hirers will be held responsible for any damage to our vehicles
howsoever caused by the client's or their guests regardless of cost
for clean up or repairs i.e. spillage stains, sickness, burns or tears
to fabric etc.
33. The Company reserves the right to prosecute any person who causes
damage to any vehicle booked through us to the full extent under the
law.
34. The driver has the right to refuse any passenger that they feel
may be a threat to him/herself or vehicle.
35. The material contained in this web site/letter is provided for
general information only and does not constitute acceptance of any
bookings that may be made. We accept no responsibility for loss, which
may arise from reliance on information, contained in this site/letter
or from any private hire bookings made on this site/letter. Settlement
is due 24 hours in advance of the booked journey time.
36. The Company reserves the right to alter or vary these terms and
conditions in any respect at its absolute discretion upon publishing
the relevant alterations and of the date upon which such alterations
take affect on the Bluestone Cars web site www.bluestone.gb.com
37. These Terms and Conditions override all others and the Company
reserves the right to alter and amend these terms and conditions at
any time and without prior notice.
